Robert J. Wienecke, M.D.

Robert J. Wienecke, M.D. is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in the management of complex spinal disorders. He was born and raised in Oklahoma City. He attended Colorado University for his undergraduate education and was subsequently accepted to the College of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma. In 1998, he graduated with his medical degree, and began six years of neurosurgical training, which he completed in July of 2004. The six months remaining in 2004 were spent with Dr. Stephen Ondra in Chicago (Northwestern University) learning more about the treatment of adult spinal deformities. In January of 2005, he began his private practice career with the Neuroscience Specialists in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Wienecke is a husband and father, and he enjoys spending time with his family when not at work.

He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, The Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and has applied for membership in the Scoliosis Research Society.
